Step 1: Log In

(1) Navigate: Go to https://openondemand.uncfsu.edu.

(2) Authenticate: Log in using your university credentials (full email address and password).

Step 2: Access Your Home Directory

(3) From the top navigation bar, choose Files > Home Directory.

Step 3: Create a Project Directory

(4) From the Directory menu, click the + New Directory button and name the new directory.

Step 4: Add/Edit Job Script

(5) Inside the project directory.

(a) Click the Upload button to upload script files.

(b) Click + New File to create a new script file.

(c) Click the Options menu (three vertical dots) next to a file to edit existing script files using the built-in editor.

Step 5: Copy Folder Path

(6) Just above files area, choose Copy path. This path will be used to create the job in the Job Composer.

Step 6: Open Job Composer

(7) From the OOD site navigation, click Jobs > Job Composer.

Step 7: Create a New Job

(8) Click New Job > From Specified Path.

Step 8: Configure the Job

(9) Source path: Paste the folder path you copied earlier.

(a) Name: Enter a descriptive name for your job.

(b) Script name: Enter the name of the job script file (e.g., run_job.sh).

(c) Cluster: From the dropdown, select bronco as the cluster.

(d) Click Save.

Step 9: Submit the Job

(10) Your job will now appear in the Job Composer list. When you are ready, select the job and click Submit.

Step 10: View Job Details

Once the job finishes running, the job status will show Completed, and the Job Details panel will display.
