Google Chrome stores cached data—such as browsing history, cookies, and images—to help pages load faster. Over time, this data can become outdated or corrupted, causing websites to display incorrectly or fail to load.
This article walks you through how to clear your browser data in Google Chrome on a laptop or desktop.
(1) Launch Edge.

(2) Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the upper-right corner.
(3) Choose Delete browsing data.
TIP: Users can also access Delete browsing data by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Command+Shift+Delete (Mac).

(4) Delete browsing data
(a) Choose the Time range for which you want to delete browsing data.
TIP: Try clearing recent data first before deleting older data.
(b) Select the types of data to delete.
TIP: Clear cookies and other site data first to resolve site and page errors.
(c) Click the Clear now button.

(5) Close and relaunch Edge.
