Minimum Specifications

ITS recommends that students have access to computers that meet the following minimum requirements.

Processor M2 Chip Intel® Core™ i7-1360P

Not recommended.

*Chromebooks do not allow installation of required software applications used at the University.

Discount Computer Purchases

Some computer vendors independently offer discount pricing on computers to students.

To qualify, you will need to provide your student email or other requested proof of your student status.

The freshman laptop program provides all incoming freshmen with a Windows computer specifically configured to meet their academic needs and contributes to creating an inclusive, and forward-thinking campus environment.
ITS can provide some students, who face technical difficulty accessing SPSS via Remote Desktop, a one-year license to install the software on a personal computer.
