This article outlines the retention policy for student and alumni email accounts.

  Retention
Student Email

  • Students accounts are deactivated 1 year after the student has dissociated from the University OR after three months of inactivity.

  • Students returning after 1 year are issued new accounts.
Alumni Email

Due to changes in cost and storage allocations, FSU has ended the creation and hosting of alumni accounts.

Guidance

Before or soon after graduation, export items stored in any FSU system to a personal account or device.
