Things to Know
- Course Access: Instructors must request access for course members each semester.
- On-Campus Access: Direct access to Open OnDemand is available only when connected to the university network using a university-managed computer.
- Off-Campus Access: To use Open OnDemand remotely, you must connect through Azure Virtual Desktop.

(1) Navigate: Go to https://openondemand.uncfsu.edu.
(2) Authenticate: Log in using your university credentials (full email address and password).

(3) Home Directory Not Found: You will see the message “Home directory not found.” This is expected and will be resolved once you complete the steps in this section.
(4) Click Option 1: Open Shell to create your home directory. This will open a new browser tab.

(5) In the shell:

(6) Close the shell tab, return to the original browser tab and click Restart Web Server. This will launch the OnDemand interface and complete the initialization of your home directory.
