Media Relations services works with campus partners to craft messages to inform external and internal stakeholders through media outlets or other in-house communications platforms. Request for media relations services also includes pitch stories for media interviews and inviting media to events.
Please note, the OSC can decide to alter the method in which any announcement is dispersed.

Request a press release to share with the media a potential story or major announcement, including but not limited to grants, partnerships, university changes, accomplishments, and events open to the community.
Media Advisory
Request a media advisory to invite the media to a university event.
News Story
Request a news story to share news where the primary audience is FSU stakeholders, and media coverage is secondary. These opportunities allow the OSC to share news through the website, social media, or share photos or videos with a description to the media without requesting an interview.
