Summary

This article provides steps for installing GlobalProtect VPN on Mac computers.

(1) Navigate to https://vpn.uncfsu.edu. Log in using your Log FSU username and password.
(2) Click Download Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent and then save file to download the installer.
(4) Run the download. You will need your computer's admin username and password to install.
(5) From the GlobalProtect Installer, click Continue.
(6) On the destination select screen, select a install destination then click Continue. Click install to confirm that you want to install GlobalProtect. When prompted, enter your Username and Password, and then click install software to begin the installation.
(7) When this security box appears, users MUST click the Open Security Preferences button.
(8) Click Allow button at the bottom of the Security & Privacy window to allow GlobalProtect. After installation is complete, close the installer.
(9) Enter vpn.uncfsu.edu into the Portal Address field and click Connect. You will be prompted to sign in with your FSU username and password.
(10) Once you are connected, the GlobalProtect icon in the menu bar will display a gray shield.
