Making Calls
Headsets
- Staff are issued a standard Bluetooth headset for placing and receiving calls via the calls App in Teams.
- Headset replacements are the responsibility of departments.
Microsoft Teams Mobile App
- The Teams Mobile can be used to place and receive calls.
- Your FSU phone number displays as the caller ID instead of your personal cell phone number.
- Mobile app call activity syncs and can be managed in the Teams desktop application.
- Call notifications can be silenced outside business hours.
Note about Mobile App: Voice calls made and received in the mobile app do not consume substantial amounts of data however, carrier rates apply when not connected to a wireless network.
