Overview
Learning Exchange is a service for programs and departments that need a learning management system to deliver courses to external users. It is also available for departments that need a platform to support internal training courses.

Things to Know
- Course Request Lead Time: The required lead time for course requests is 5-10 business days.
- Approved Use: Learning Exchange is only approved for offering external and internal courses that require LMS functionalities (i.e. modules, quizzes, assignments, etc.)
- Approved Use Reviews: Routine reviews are conducted to ensure courses follow approved uses. Courses that do not meet approved uses are subject to removal from the platform.

1 Cost and fees must be paid upfront and are non-refundable.
2 Pro-rated billing is calculated from the first day of each month. Billing for continued use is renewed on July 1 of each fiscal year.
Onboarding
New Course Owners / Instructors
- Course owners with no experience using the Canvas LMS will be added to an optional self-paced onboarding course for new instructors.
- While completion of the course is not required, course owners and instructors should complete the course if they are unable to complete course building tasks.
