The FMPC Project Request Form is used to initiate planning and construction-related projects requiring review and coordination by Facilities Management Planning & Construction (FMPC).
When to Submit an FMPC Project Request
Submit a Project Request when your department is considering work that may require planning, design, construction, renovation, cost estimating, or modification of a University facility or its infrastructure.
Planning Ahead
- Project timelines vary based on scope, complexity, funding, required approvals, procurement, design, and construction requirements.
- Departments should submit requests as early as possible to allow adequate time for review and project development.
- Requested start or completion dates can help FMPC understand departmental needs and planning priorities but do not guarantee that a project can begin or be completed within the requested timeframe.

- Project Development: Once the request is approved to proceed, FMPC will coordinate with the requesting department to define the project scope, requirements, anticipated schedule, and next steps.
